Mission Statement
Better Community Centre (BCC) is dedicated to strengthening the community by creating safe, supportive spaces where the older generation, young women and girls can access essential services, led by a committed team of women. Our mission is to support older people and empower women and young children, particularly from disadvantaged BAME (Black, Asian, and Minority Ethnic) communities in North London, to overcome barriers, achieve self-sufficiency, and build brighter futures.
Vision Statement
Our vision is to provide early intervention and self-development programmes that inspire and uplift disadvantaged BAME older people, women and their children. We aim to raise aspirations, boost confidence, tackle social isolation, and equip them with the skills needed to integrate into society, secure employment, and nurture thriving families.
